Grassroots Organizations of the CPC and Its Public Foudation

July 1, 2010 marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. In order to enable you to know how the CPC operates at the grassroots and makes joint efforts with the ordinary people to build a good society, it is scheduled in the afternoon of June 23 (Thursday) to interview CPC organizations in communities at the grassroots and keep most frequent contacts with the public.

Through the interview, it is expected to provide reporters with the opportunity to get in direct touch with grassroots organizations of the Party and learn information on how the grassroots Party organizations are elected, how they interact with public opinions, what services they offer to the residents, and why people from all walks of life are willing to join grassroots Party organizations and provide as Party members a variety of services to the residents, etc.

1. Time: 13:30-16:00 p.m., June 23 (Thursday)

2. Contents of interview: introduction to the direct elections of grassroots Party organizations in communities, and interview with Party representatives and grassroots Party members to learn, on the spot, various ways used by Party members to serve the public.

3. Convening place for reporters: West Gate of Shanghai Municipal Government, No. 200 Renmin Avenue (near Shanghai Grand Theater) at 13:00 p.m. on June 23 (Thursday); we will arrange vehicles to the program site.

"感知上海"记者邀访活动通知
——中国共产党的基层组织及其民众基础

今年七月一日是中国共产党成立九十周年。为了使大家从一个侧面了解中国共产党如何在基层运行，与普通群众同心同德建设美好社会，定于6月23日（星期四）下午安排采访中国共产党最基层、与群众接触最多的社区党组织。通过此次采访，希望能为记者提供直接与党的基层组织接触，了解基层党组织如何选举产生、如何与民意互动、向居民提供什么服务，各行各业人士为什么愿意加入基层党组织并作为党员向居民提供各类服务等情况。

1、时间：6月23日（星期四）下午13:30-16:00

2、采访内容：社区基层党组织直选介绍、采访党代表及基层党员、现场了解党员服务民众的各种模式。

3、记者集中地点：6月23日（星期四）下午13：00在人民大道200号市政府西大门（近上海大剧院正门）集合，统一发车前往。
