Zhu Yonglei
Director
Zhu Yonglei, male, born in Shanghai in July 1964, holds a bachelor degree in journalism and an MBA degree. He is now deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Committee, director of the International Communication Office of the CPC Shanghai Committee and director of the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government.
Zhu graduated from Fudan University’s School of Journalism in 1985 and obtained his MBA from China Europe International Business School in 2006. He has worked on different jobs as deputy director of news department and director of editor’s office of Shanghai Oriental TV Station, assistant director of the Shanghai Administration of Radio, Film and Television, deputy Party secretary and director of Shanghai TV Station; Party secretary and director of Shanghai Media Group, Party secretary and board chairman of Shanghai Oriental Pearl Co Ltd; deputy director of Shanghai Expo (Group) Co Ltd, Party secretary of eastday.com, deputy director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, deputy Party secretary and director of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film and TV, and director of Shanghai Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage.
Zhu was appointed deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shanghai Committee, director of the International Communication Office of the CPC Shanghai Committee, and director of the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in September 2011.
